Pheww!long time no see! :) so here’re my reason. :P i kinda busy.assigment,exam.sort of thing-lah.to add, there’s nothing to talk about. drought of ideas i guess. :) as you can see from the title above, the real purpose of this post is to congratulate my beloved school, STAR whom has successfully named as one of the “sekolah berpretasi tinggi”. A bit formal pulak. haha although we are a bit behind or slow from others SBP, but lagi bagus dari tak dapat langsungkan? So lantak la apa orang nak kata! :) again, congratulations to all members of STAR. hopefully with this status, it will enrich our spirit to continue to lift the name of STAR in various fields. IPOH: Sekolah Tuanku Abdul Rahman (STAR) here was among the 23 schools recognised as high performance schools as announced by Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin yesterday.
STAR senior assistant (student affairs) Mohd Zakaria Yusuf, 49, said the school had always been known for its academic achievements.
"This was proven when 88 of our students produced straights As in the Penilaian Menengah Rendah examination last year.
"We are proud with what we have achieved and this recognition is the best gift for us. It is also proof of our years of hard work and dedication by teachers, students and alumni who have been helping us throughout the years in terms of motivation and moral support.
"STAR would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who made this possible. We will continue to uphold our tradition to reflect our motto -- knowledge is our guidance."
